Poetry Camp

• Camp will meet at 1060 Miami Way. We might sit outside if the weather cooperates, so please dress accordingly.

• Each young writer will be provided with a notebook. Please remind your writer to bring that notebook to each session.

• Ensure that your writer completes assignments and comes to workshop prepared to share work.

• Please drop off your young writers by 9am.

• We will provide light snacks and beverages. Please send your child with a more substantial and nourishing snack to help fortify concentration and enjoyment of the session. Please also let us know about any allergies or food restrictions.

• Marketing Disclosure and Release

By registering for a workshop, book club, or camp, I hereby authorize and consent to the use and reproduction by Flow Writers’ Workshop LLC of photographs, video footage or audio recordings for marketing purposes (collectively, “the Content”) in which my child may appear while participating in writing workshops, book clubs, camps or other programs and services provided by Flow Writers’ Workshop LLC.  I understand that I will not receive payment for FLOW’s use of the Content.

 

• Waiver/Release/Indemnification 


 

By registering for a workshop, book club, camp, or private lesson, I, on behalf of myself and/or my child (the “Child”), understand and agree that FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC, including but not limited to its members, representatives, employees, or independent contractors, shall not be held responsible for any damages or claims arising and/or resulting from my and/or the Child’s participation in such workshop, book club, camp, or private lesson and/or involvement with FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC.  I, on behalf of myself and/or the Child, hereby waive and release and agree to indemnify and defend FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC from and against any and all claims arising and/or resulting from my and/or the Child’s participation in such workshop, book club, camp, or private lesson and/or involvement with FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC.  

 

• Cancellation/Missed Class Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing via email.  By registering for a workshop, camp, book club, or private lesson, I understand that if I cancel my child’s registration, a minimum of $50.00 of my payment will be retained by FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC and, in the event that I cancel my child’s registration less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled start of such workshop, camp, book club, or private lesson, as applicable, the entirety of my payment will be retained by FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC.  Any days missed during a workshop, camp or private lesson package, even in the event of unexpected illness, will not be refunded and make up classes are not offered. 

 

• Permission to be Added to Email List

By registering for a workshop, book club, camp or private lesson, I agree to be added to FLOW Writers’ Workshop LLC’s marketing email list (but I can unsubscribe at any time).
